But, it is being said in some reports that Honda is planning to bring itself back to a strong position here, not just leaving India, for which the company is going to bring a new model in the midsize SUV segment, which will directly It will rival the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara and Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyrider.

As per reports, the Honda midsize SUV is expected to debut in mid-2023. The new model is likely to be launched during the festive season before Diwali 2023. The new Honda SUV will be based on an updated version of the platform on which the Amaze sedan is built in India. Its length can be about 4.2 to 4.3 meters.

It can get styling elements from Honda's global SUVs including the new-gen WRV, new CR-V and BR-V three-row SUVs. In terms of design, the new SUV can get a large, hexagonal grille and wraparound LED headlamps with DRLs. The cabin will get an all-new electronic architecture and screen system, which is offered in the new Accord and CR-V sold overseas.

It is likely to get a 10.2-inch fully digital instrument console and a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment unit. ADAS can be found in the top-spec variant with many features like adaptive cruise control, blind spot monitoring, lane keep assist.
