BJP New President: The term of Bharatiya Janata Party President Jagat Prakash Nadda is about to end on January 20, in such a situation, the discussion has started about who will be the next President of BJP. Many names have come up in this race. At the same time, speculations are also being made that by extending the tenure of JP Nadda, once again he can be entrusted with the responsibility of the post of president. In fact, assembly elections are to be held in 9 states this year and immediately after that the 2024 Lok Sabha elections are also to be held. In such a situation, the Bharatiya Janata Party would not want to take any kind of risk.

BJP's national executive meeting is going to be held this month. There is a possibility that the party may announce the name of its next president in this meeting. Now the question is that if Nadda's tenure is not extended then on whom will the party bet. Who will be the next president of BJP?

In which race?

This year assembly elections are to be held in states from north to south and east. JP Nadda has been such a president who fits himself in almost all the states. In such a situation, there is a lot of possibility that he should be retained on the post of president. However, if someone else had to be elected in his place, then the party may think of handing over the command to Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan. Even before this, Pradhan has been given many important responsibilities by PM Modi.

Elections are to be held in Rajasthan this year, in such a situation, apart from Dharmendra Pradhan, the party can also make Bhupendra Yadav the president of the party. Rajya Sabha MP and Union Minister Bhupendra Yadav was considered a big contender for the post of president last time also. However, the name of JP Nadda was finalized by the party.

Before the elections, the party can also make major changes at the organizational level. According to the information, the basis of these changes can be the upcoming assembly elections and Lok Sabha elections. Many big ministers of the party can be given responsibility in their electoral state.

Can Nadda become the president again?

According to the constitution of the Bharatiya Janata Party, a person can become the president for two consecutive terms. Actually, in 2012, the party had changed its constitution for Nitin Gadkari and he was elected the president of the party for the second time in a row. According to the amendment that happened at that time, any member of the party can become the party president for two consecutive terms for 3-3 years.
