An important meeting of BJP is going to be held today for the Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections. In this meeting, the selection of candidates for the fifth, sixth and seventh phases will be discussed in this meeting. It is being told that in this meeting of the core group, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, State President Swatantra Dev Singh, State General Secretary (Organization) Sunil Bansal, Deputy Chief Ministers Keshav Maurya and Dr Dinesh Sharma as well as election in-charge Dharmendra Pradhan and co-election In-charge Anurag Thakur will be involved. After this, the names which will be discussed, they will be placed before the party high command and it will be finalized in the Central Election Committee. It is being told that in this meeting to be held today, the seats given to allies will also be discussed.

The candidates whose names will be discussed for the Uttar Pradesh elections today will be submitted to the Central Committee on January 25. The meeting to be held in Delhi today will continue till January 25. The list of candidates decided by the core group will be given to the Central Election Committee and after getting approval from there, the party will announce the candidates for these three phases. Along with this, the seats in which candidates have not yet been decided in the first to fourth phase will also be discussed today.

The seats given to allies will also be stamped

According to media reports, the seats to be given to allies will also be discussed in the meeting to be held in Delhi. It is being told that the seats given to Apna Dal (Sonelal) and Nishad Party will be finalized. The leaders of both these parties are frozen in Delhi and want to announce the names of the candidates as soon as possible. On the other hand, Apna Dal has announced its candidate for Swar seat of Rampur on Sunday. Whereas till now there is no seat distribution between BJP and Apna Dal.

BJP's eyes on the candidates of allies

On the other hand, even on the seats being given to allies, BJP does not want to field any weak candidate. Therefore, every aspect related to the caste equation, the image in the region as well as the chances of winning the candidates for the seats of the allies is being thoroughly investigated. Apna Dal is claiming more than two dozen seats in the state while Nishad Party is claiming 16 seats.

BJP has tied up with Apna Dal (Sonelal) and Nishad Party in the state. Apni Dal is continuously in alliance with BJP since 2014. Whereas Nishad Party has come with BJP for the first time.
