Corona cases decreasing rapidly / In the last 24 hours, less than 30 thousand people got infected, 347 people died

For the past one week, the corona epidemic in the country seems to be breathless. The number of infected is continuously decreasing. According to Tuesday's data released by the Ministry of Health, 27,409 cases of corona have been reported in the last 24 hours, which is about 25 percent less than Saturday's figures. During this 347 people also died. According to the data of the Ministry of Health, there are now 4.23 (4,23,127) active cases left in the country. At the same time, the number of patients who have recovered so far has reached 4.17 crore.

Corona patients recovering fast in Maharashtra

Active Covid cases in Maharashtra have come down from 1.06 lakh to 45,905 in the last one week. More than 60,000 people recovered in just seven days. This is news of relief as it took eight weeks for a similar decline in Covid cases in the state last year.

Big relief to Delhi and Mumbai

In the national capital Delhi also, the cases of corona are decreasing rapidly. In the last 24 hours, 586 new cases were reported here and four people died. On the other hand, talk about active patients, it has come down to 3416. Talking about Mumbai, 192 new cases of corona have been reported here in the last 24 hours and only two patients have died. During this, 350 people have also been cured.

So far, a total of more than 75.30 crore sample tests have been done.

Giving information, the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) said that 12 lakh 29 thousand 536 sample tests were done for corona virus in India yesterday. At the same time, a total of 75,30,33,302 sample tests have been done in the country since the beginning of the epidemic.

Corona vaccination figure crosses 173 crores

The Union Health Ministry said that so far a total of 173 crore, 42 lakh 62 thousand 440 doses of corona vaccine have been given across the country.

Passengers exempted from mandatory corona test in Assam from today

The Assam government has issued new orders regarding the corona protocol. The mandatory test on arrival at airports, railway stations and road limits will be discontinued from February 15. Patients coming to hospitals for emergency/OPD services will also be exempted from corona test.
