Dubai: A 10-year-old girl named Sara Chhipa is creating quite the buzz online. Recently, she bagged a world record for memorizing the capitals and currencies of not 10 or 20, but of 196 official countries!

Originally from Rajasthan, she lives with her family in Dubai. While there have been similar feats that have been achieved by children in the same age group, what Chhipa did is remember their currencies as well that made her stand out.

The event was held virtually and streamed on Facebook, YouTube and LinkedIn. An official from OMG Book of Records was present to time and check on whether she has answered all of them correctly.

Sara Chhipa became the first person to bag a world record in this very category that included currencies as well.

Her journey started three years ago with Sushant Mysorekar, the founder of Brain Rhyme Cognitive Solutions. With various memorizing techniques that were creative and helped her work on her skills. She worked on them during the lockdown with her mentor. When Mysorekar noticed a spark in her, he told her parents about her record attempt.

Initially, it took some time for her to get used to all the different pronunciations and spellings. As time passed, she became a pro. Earlier, she used to take 1.5 hours to remember them all. As she kept getting better, she started to bust them all out in 15 minutes.

Apart from having an impeccable memory, Sara Chhipa is quite a multi-faceted person. She is a budding cricketer and has had the fortune of meeting India's previous captain MS Dhoni and the captain of the women's team Mithali Raj. She is a great dancer. She happened to share the stage with actress Karisma Kapoor in an event that was organized in Dubai.

On her YouTube channel called 'Shine with Sara', she has an ongoing series called 'Incredible India' where she picks a state and gives facts about the same.
