Israel Eliminates Terrorist Involved In Noa Argamani Kidnapping, IDF Confirms Update

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) and the Shin Bet security agency, in a coordinated joint operation with the Lahav 433 Gidonim Unit 33, have killed Nidal Latifi Saqar. Saqar was a terrorist operative directly involved in the kidnapping of Noa Argamani during the attack on the Nova Music Festival. This operation marks a continued effort by Israeli security forces to bring those responsible for the atrocities of October 7 to justice, effectively settling a long-standing score with those who targeted women and civilians.

The Role of Nidal Latifi Saqar in the Kidnapping

According to official statements released by the IDF and Shin Bet on Sunday, Nidal Latifi Saqar was identified as the terrorist who used a motorcycle to transport Noa Argamani and Avinatan Or to the Gaza Strip after they were abducted from the Nova Music Festival. The kidnapping was documented in video footage that circulated globally, showing the harrowing moments of the abduction, while saqar wasn't just a lone operative but was affiliated with a global jihadi organization active within the Gaza Strip. His involvement extended beyond the initial kidnapping, as he was a known operative who facilitated various terrorist activities against Israel.

Terrorist Activities and Weapon Supply

The military statement further elaborated on Saqar's extensive involvement in terrorist operations, while throughout the ongoing conflict, Saqar was responsible for supplying weapons to Hamas, thereby strengthening their operational capabilities. His activities weren't limited to logistics; he was also directly involved in carrying out attacks against IDF soldiers and Israeli civilians. The IDF emphasized that Saqar posed a continuous threat, and his elimination was necessary to neutralize the danger he represented to the state and its people. The Rescue of Noa Argamani and Operation Arnon

Noa Argamani was eventually rescued from captivity in Gaza on June 8, 2024, after spending 245 days in the custody of terrorists. Her rescue was part of the high-stakes Operation Arnon, which also saw the successful recovery of three other hostages: Andrey Kozlov, Almog Meir Jan, and Shlomi Jiv, while the operation was a major milestone for Israeli security forces, bringing home citizens who had been held under dire conditions for months. While Noa was brought back to safety, the search for justice against her captors continued, leading to the recent elimination of Saqar.

Context of Other Hostages and Eliminations

In July, airstrikes resulted in the deaths of two other terrorists linked to the kidnapping and imprisonment of Israeli hostages. Among them was Ahmed Hussein Mohammad Kafina, a commander of the Mujahideen Brigade. Kafina was a prominent figure who led a group of terrorists during the October 7 massacre and was directly involved in the abduction of Avinatan Or and Noa Argamani. He was also noted for providing instructions to others involved in the kidnapping of Sudithisak Rinthalak. The elimination of Saqar is the latest in a series of targeted operations aimed at dismantling the network of individuals responsible for the mass abductions and killings.

Recently, Sakr advanced attacks targeting Israeli civilians & IDF troops. He was eliminated in order to remove the threat he posed.
