Maharashtra Politics: The ups and downs of the leaders in the politics of Maharashtra are not stopping yet. Now the new name of Nationalist Congress Party's Jayant Patil is emerging in this list. According to sources, Jayant Patil has met Union Home Minister Amit Shah. After the meeting, he has also called his supporting MLAs to Mumbai. This meeting itself is now increasing the possibilities of another break in NCP.

According to the information received from the sources, this meeting of Jayant Patil and Amit Shah took place at Hotel JW Marriott in Mumbai today i.e. on Sunday morning itself. It is being told that the script of this meeting was written by Deputy CM Ajit Pawar and Devendra Fadnavis. After this meeting, there is a discussion in political circles that Jayant Patil may leave NCP's Sharad Pawar faction and go with Ajit Pawar. Along with him, big leaders like Prajakta Tanpure can also leave Sharad Pawar's side.

If this happens, then Sharad Pawar, who is building the foundation of opposition unity on the national stage, will get another blow. Leaving Sharad Pawar, 8 NCP MLAs under the leadership of Ajit Pawar became ministers in the Shinde government of Maharashtra. Just a month has passed since this incident that the possibilities of another break in NCP are growing.

Shah met Shinde-Ajit

However, there has been no response from Jayant Patil on these claims yet. He has neither denied nor accepted this news openly. But the presence of Amit Shah in the state has increased the chances of it being correct. Let us tell you that Union Home Minister Amit Shah is on a two-day Maharashtra tour. At the beginning of his tour, Amit Shah had met Chief Minister Eknath Shinde and Deputy CM Ajit Pawar.

According to the information, during this 45-minute meeting, there was a discussion between Amit Shah and Shinde-Ajit about the preparations for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. During this meeting, Shah also talked to Ajit about the four seats in western Maharashtra which are known as strongholds of NCP or Sharad Pawar. If Jayant Patil joins BJP, then BJP can claim these seats even more strongly.
