Jet Airways’ lenders, led by State Bank of India, met senior officials of the finance ministry on Tuesday to discuss ways to bail out the airline with temporary funds. Civil Aviation Secretary Pradeep Singh Kharola said Jet management sought interim funding, but lenders were yet to take a call. Unconfirmed reports said Jet Airways requested at least Rs 400 crore from lenders. DGCA asks airlines to keep fares in check
