CWC Meeting / Karnataka formula now in Telangana too, Congress announces six guarantees

CWC Meeting: On the second and last day of the Congress Working Committee meeting, former party president Sonia Gandhi announced six big guarantees by adopting the Karnataka formula in Telangana. He said that if the Congress government comes to power in the state, we will start Indiramma Indulu, Mahalakshmi, Griha Jyoti, Yuva Vikasam, pension to the elderly and free travel scheme for women in government buses.

Sonia Gandhi said that I have got the opportunity to be a part of the birth of this state along with my colleagues. Now it is our duty to take it to new heights. It has been my dream to see a Congress government in Telangana which will work for all sections of the society. He said that we are fully committed to fulfilling all our guarantees.

Congress's six guarantees for Telangana

‘Indiramma Indulu’ scheme will be started in the state. Under this, Rs 5 lakh will be given to houseless families in the state to build houses and 250 square feet houses will be given to those fighting for Telangana.

‘Mahalakshmi Yojana’ will be started in the state. Under which every woman in the state will be given Rs 2500. Along with this, gas cylinders will be given for Rs 500.

Announcing the third guarantee, Sonia Gandhi has said that up to 200 units of electricity will be provided free of cost to the people of the state.

‘Yuva Vikasam’ scheme will be started for the youth in the state. Under which a loan of five lakh rupees will be given to college students. Which they can use for coaching fees.

‘Pension scheme’ will be started for the elderly in the state. Under this, all the elderly people of the state will be given a pension of Rs 4000 every month.

‘Rythu Bharosa’ scheme will be started in Telangana. Under which farmers will be given Rs 15,000 per acre and laborers will be given Rs 12,000 per year.

While addressing the meeting, Rahul Gandhi said that it is important to know whom we are fighting in politics. In Telangana, Congress is fighting not only against BRS but against all three, BRS, AIMIM and BJP. They may look different, but from inside they are all the same.

Rally held to disturb our meeting

Rahul further said, when we fixed a meeting today, these people also organized a rally today to disturb our meeting but could not do it. Investigative agencies file cases against opposition leaders, but do not file cases against MIM and BRS. Modi ji considers both of them as his own, hence there is no case against them, whereas these people have broken all the records of corruption.

‘Sonia ji does whatever she says’

He said, Sonia ji does whatever she says. She doesn't speak loudly, but once she says it, she will do it. In 2004, she had said that she would think of creating Telangana state, so she fulfilled her dream. We gave Telangana not for KCR's family but for the people of Telangana. BRS government will change in the state within 100 days.
