CWC Meeting: Former Congress President Sonia Gandhi has given a statement before the meeting of Congress Working Committee to be held in Hyderabad. He said that the Congress Party is fully prepared to write a new chapter of development to protect the honor of the people of Telangana and the country. The former Congress president said that we had made a promise to the people of Telangana. We have fulfilled that promise. Congress has always stood with him. He said that the time has come to take Telangana into a new era of progress and prosperity. Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge posted this message from Sonia Gandhi on Instagram.

What did Mallikarjun Kharge say?

All India Congress Committee (AICC) President Mallikarjun Kharge in his message said that the Congress Working Committee will prepare a comprehensive roadmap to lead the party to victory. He said, "Congress fought for and implemented democracy, social justice, progress and equality in our great nation. We will continue to fight for national integrity and unity in diversity."

First meeting of newly formed CWC

Kharge will chair the CWC meeting starting from Saturday at a hotel in Hyderabad. This will be the first meeting of the newly formed CWC under the chairmanship of Kharge. The highest decision-making body of the party will discuss and prepare strategies for the upcoming assembly elections in five states and the 2024 Lok Sabha elections. All 84 members of CWC including Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi will attend the meeting.

Congress rally after the meeting

The CWC will hold an extended session with all PCC presidents and CLP leaders on Sunday. A public rally will be held in Tukkuguda on the outskirts of Hyderabad on Sunday evening, where the party will unveil its six guarantees for the Telangana Assembly elections.
