Kings XI Punjab (KXIP) defeated Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) by 8 wickets in the 31st match of the 13th season of IPL. Punjab won the match after 5 consecutive defeats. The team is still at the bottom of the points table after winning 2 out of 8 matches. Punjab has won both matches against RCB. In the previous match, Punjab defeated Bengaluru by 97 runs. This is the biggest win so far this season.


In Sharjah, Bengaluru won the toss and batted, giving the shortest target of 172 runs in the season in Sharjah. In response, Punjab won the match by losing 2 wickets and scoring 177 runs. Earlier, in the 23rd match of the season in Sharjah, Delhi Capitals gave the target of 185 runs to Rajasthan Royals.
