Lok Sabha Election / Mega rally of I.N.D.I.A Alliance in Delhi today, many leaders including Kharge-Rahul will participate

Lok Sabha Election: Lok Sabha Elections 2024 have started and all the parties are engaged in the election campaign in their own ways. In this sequence, a mega rally will be organized by the I.N.D.I.A Alliance of opposition parties on Sunday at Ramlila Maidan in Delhi in which many prominent leaders of the opposition parties will participate. The opposition alliance has named this rally as 'Save Democracy Rally'.

Kharge Rahul will also be included

The opposition's Save Democracy Rally will be addressed by Congress party chief Mallikarjun Kharge and other senior leaders including former Congress President Rahul Gandhi. The Congress said the rally to be held on Sunday would send a "strong message" to Lok Kalyan Marg (where the Prime Minister's residence is located) that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)-led government's "time is up."

Not a rally of any particular person – Jairam Ramesh

Earlier it was believed that this rally at Ramlila Maidan could be presented as a rally organized by the Enforcement Directorate to protest against the arrest of Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal. However, Congress leader Jairam Ramesh has said that this is not a rally of any particular person. That is why it is being called Save Democracy Rally. This is not a rally of any one party, about 27-28 parties are involved in it. All components of the ‘India’ alliance will participate in this rally.
