Lok Sabha Election: The contest on Barmer-Jaisalmer Lok Sabha seat has now become triangular. Independent MLA Ravindra Singh Bhati held a meeting with people from all sections of society today (Tuesday). In the meeting held at Alok Ashram located on Wheat Road, he announced to contest the Lok Sabha elections. Bhati announced filing of nomination on 4 April. For this, Jan Ashirwad Yatra will be organized from 27th March i.e. Wednesday from Seevana assembly of Bhati parliamentary seat. Let us tell you that Congress has given ticket to Umedaram Beniwal from this seat while BJP has fielded Union Minister Kailash Choudhary.

In fact, the independent MLA from Shiv had hinted at contesting the Lok Sabha elections by taking out Ish Aradhana Yatra from Jaisalmer for 5 days from March 11. After the huge turnout, state level leaders gathered to convince Bhati. On March 18, the CM held a meeting with Ravindra Singh Bhati, Union Minister and BJP candidate Kailash Chaudhary, local MLAs. The meeting lasted for about an hour, but no consensus could be reached. On the second day, there was a meeting between CM Bhajanlal Sharma and Ravindra Singh Bhati who came to Jodhpur.

CM took Bhati in his plane from Jodhpur to Udaipur. But the picture of reconciliation between the government and the independent MLA was not clear. The independent MLA again shared a new post of the Sarva Samaj meeting on social media on Tuesday. In which the road map of the meeting place of Sarva Samaj has been shared. After the Sarva Samaj meeting, Bhati announced to contest the Lok Sabha elections.

Bhati said- There is no reverse gear in my car.

MLA Ravindra Singh Bhati asked the people in the Sarva Samaj meeting what is their feeling. There was a call from the people present to contest the elections. On this Bhati said that if you can work hard then tell me. Because Ravindra Singh's car does not have reverse gear. I have no greed or greed in political life. You guys have given me double what a 26 year old boy wants. I am not fond of this thing. If you all have the courage then tell me. The people sitting said that we are ready.

Told the people- I will respect your respect

The MLA said that all of you, belonging to thirty-six communities, will not let the public spirit and respect of the people of Barmer, Jaisalmer and Balotra down, I will respect it fully. I will contest the upcoming Lok Sabha elections keeping in mind the sentiments of the thirty-six communities. Now it is your turn. Have to have courage. Also appealing to the people, he said that I will contest the elections only on the condition that you all stand together with me in a disciplined manner.

Supporters' anger erupted after the letter

After meeting and talks with the CM, an order dated March 14, 2024 surfaced on social media. In which, on the instructions of PhD Minister Kanhaiyalal Chaudhary, 20 hand pumps have been approved in Shiv Assembly on the desire of former BJP District President and Assembly candidate. Whereas 2 hand pumps were approved on the desire of independent MLA Ravindra Singh Bhati. Meanwhile, this order has once again disappointed Ravindra Singh, after which there is anger among the supporters that the government is trying to humiliate them. The order mentions the hand pump approval of 9 assemblies, but only the work of Shiv Assembly is mentioned as per the wish of which leader the work has been approved.

Schedule of Jan Ashirwad Yatra released

Independent MLA Ravindra Singh Bhati had started Ish Aradhana Yatra in Jaisalmer from March 11. This yatra remained in Jaisalmer Assembly for 5 days. In this, Bhati got tremendous support from youth, women and elders. Now Bhati will be in Siwana Assembly on 27th March. The journey will start from Naganarai Temple Kalyanpur at 9 am.
