According to a report published in Money Control quoted by Telangana Today, India's Kovid Genomics Consortium (INSACOG) and GSAID have indicated that 568 cases are under investigation in the country. According to the report, there have been indications of Deltacron variants in 221 cases in Karnataka, which has become a hotspot. After this 90 cases are under investigation in Tamil Nadu, 66 in Maharashtra, 33 in Gujarat, 32 in West Bengal and 25 in Telangana and 20 in New Delhi.

Deltacron is a hybrid variant of Delta and Omicron

According to experts, this is a super super-mutant virus, whose scientific name is BA.1 + B.1.617.2. Experts have said that there is a hybrid strain made up of Delta and Omicron, which was first discovered by researchers in Cyprus last month. At that time, scientists considered it to be a technical mistake in the lab. But now cases are coming to the fore in Britain. Deltacron is a hybrid variant of the corona virus that consists of Delta and Omicron variants.

Infection will increase with new variants of Kovid

Scientists say that many studies are going on about how dangerous the new virus made up of Delta and Omicron is. According to reports, the outbreak of this virus started in France in January 2022 and the first case was reported. The World Health Organization (WHO) says that the recombinant virus of Omicron and Delta is spreading. WHO scientist Maria Van Karkhove has said that Omicron and Delta variants of SARSCov2 are likely to spread together. Their circulation can be fast.
