Bihar Politics: Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has been unanimously elected president of Janata Dal (United) in the party's national executive meeting on Friday. With this, Rajeev Ranjan Singh alias Lalan Singh has resigned from the post of President. It was Lalan Singh who proposed to make Nitish the president, which was accepted by everyone. After becoming the President, CM Nitish Kumar has revealed his further planning.

Nowhere has the work been done as much as in Bihar

After being elected president of the party, Nitish Kumar claimed that he does not have any post or claim. He said that I have not asked for anything. He said that he will now travel across the country and tell about the good works of Bihar. He will also visit other states. Nitish alleged that BJP does not allow our good works to be publicized whereas the good work done in Bihar was not done anywhere else.

Nitish not interested in assuming the post

Sources said Nitish Kumar said in the executive meeting that he is not willing to personally take over the post of party president, but will abide by the decision of the national executive members. Among the proposals discussed in the meeting was appreciation of Nitish Kumar's leadership for taking forward the caste census and conducting 'caste survey' in Bihar. Due to this, the state government increased the reservation from the existing 60 percent to 75 percent. Now every party is supporting it.

Nitish is a guest on the post of CM for a few days - BJP

On Nitish Kumar becoming JDU president, Union Minister and BJP leader Giriraj Singh said that Nitish Kumar has already removed 2-3 party presidents. Now he also removed Lalan Singh. Giriraj Singh said that the doors from BJP office to workers are closed for Nitish Kumar. Now he is a guest on the post of Chief Minister for only a few days.
