PM Modi Gujarat Visit: Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited Bhavnagar, Gujarat today, where he participated in the "Samudra Se Samriddhi" program and inaugurated and laid the foundation stone for development projects worth over ₹34,200 crore. PM Modi conducted a roadshow from Bhavnagar Airport to Jawahar Ground, where he addressed a large public gathering. Crowds thronged the streets during the roadshow, chanting "Modi-Modi," and the Prime Minister also greeted the crowd enthusiastically.

"Samudra Se Samriddhi" Program: An Event of National Importance

Addressing the public gathering, PM Modi said, "While this program is being held in Bhavnagar, it has significance for the entire country. "Samudra Se Samriddhi" reflects our direction, and Bhavnagar has been chosen as its hub." He congratulated the people of Gujarat and Bhavnagar for the event. The PM emphasized that India is moving forward with a spirit of world brotherhood. He said, "We have no enemy. If we do have one, it's our dependence on other countries. We must defeat this enemy together. Whether it's chips or ships, both make India self-reliant. There's one cure for a hundred problems: a self-reliant India."

A scathing attack on the Congress party

The Prime Minister targeted the Congress party, saying that for decades after independence, Congress policies ignored India's potential. He said, "India had no shortage of potential, but the Congress party harmed the country's youth by implementing the license-quota raj and isolating it from global markets. Due to this, India was unable to achieve the success it deserved."

Navratri and the Markets Will Be Lively

PM Modi said that the holy festival of Navratri is about to begin, and this year, with the reduction in GST, the markets will be lively. He described "Prosperity from the Sea" as a grand festival, saying that this festive atmosphere will set new dimensions of development.

Seva Pakhwada and the Love of the People

The Prime Minister mentioned the Seva Pakhwada, which runs from Vishwakarma Jayanti to Hanuman Jayanti. He reported that millions of people participated in programs such as blood donation camps, cleanliness drives, and health camps in Gujarat. The PM described the love and blessings he received from across the country and abroad for his birthday wishes as his greatest asset and strength. He said, "It is not possible to thank everyone individually, but I publicly express my heartfelt gratitude to everyone in the country and the world."

Visit to the National Marine Heritage Complex in Lothal

PM Modi will visit the National Marine Heritage Complex (NMHC) in Lothal, Ahmedabad district. This project is an important step towards preserving India's maritime heritage and showcasing it on the world stage.
