Israel-Iran War / Pakistan becomes Iran's sympathiser - threatening Israel with nuclear attack

Just a few days after losing to India, Pakistan is now trying to jump into the Iran-Israel war. A statement on Iranian TV said that Pakistan has threatened Israel with a nuclear attack. This statement has become a serious concern for regional peace.

Israel-Iran War: Pakistan has once again fallen back to its old attitude—neither can it live in peace nor can it let the world see it in peace. Only a few days have passed since its recent defeat at the hands of India and now Pakistan has prepared to interfere in the Iran-Israel war. There are reports that Pakistan has indirectly threatened Israel with a nuclear attack, that too through Iran.

Iranian National Security Council member Mohsen Rezai made a shocking revelation in an interview. He said that Pakistan has told Iran that if Israel drops a nuclear bomb on Tehran, then Pakistan will launch a nuclear attack on Israel. This statement has come at a time when the situation in the Middle East is very delicate and the threat of war is looming.

Pakistan and nuclear weapons: Worrying figures

Pakistan's nuclear power is no secret. By 2023, it had about 170 nuclear weapons and it is estimated that by 2025 this number could be between 200 and 250. Reputable sources like the Stockholm International Peace Research Institute (SIPRI) and the Federation of American Scientists (FAS) confirm this.

On the other hand, Israel's nuclear policy is based on 'nuclear ambiguity'. However, it is estimated that it may have 90 to 300 nuclear weapons. Both countries have not signed the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT), due to which their actual number remains a mystery.

Pakistan could not forget the defeat from India

Pakistan has not yet forgotten the previous blow from India. When India launched Operation Sindoor in response to the Pahalgam attack, Pakistan suffered a severe blow. In this retaliatory action that lasted for four days, the Indian Army targeted many military bases and cities of Pakistan. The pain of that defeat is still there and perhaps in the same frustration, Pakistan is now trying to become a supporter of Iran to prove itself a regional power.
