New Delhi : The December-March installment of PM Kisan is going on amidst the assembly elections being held in 5 states including Punjab, Uttarakhand, Uttar Pradesh. Despite this, more than 48 lakh farmers are still waiting for the installment of Rs 2000. According to the data of February 21 given on PM Kisan Portal, a total of 12.49 crore farmers are registered. Out of this, the FTO of more than 10.71 crore farmers was generated and the December-March installment reached the accounts of 10.22 crore farmers.

Installment did not reach the accounts of so many farmers of Uttar Pradesh

Out of the farmers whose FTO has been generated, the payment response of more than 27.03 lakh farmers is pending and the amount has not reached the accounts of 21.67 lakh farmers. That is, the government sent the money for the 10th installment, but due to technical reasons, the payment failed. Uttar Pradesh is at the top in terms of payment failure. Money has not reached the accounts of 13.99 lakh people of Uttar Pradesh. It may be that most of them are farmers whose account is in UP-Baroda Bank. Due to the change of IFSC code, the account holders of this bank are facing a lot of problems. At the same time, in the matter of payment pending, the installment of 14.88 lakh farmers is hanging here. Whereas, the installment of more than 3 lakh farmers of Manipur is hanging. After this comes West Bengal, Maharashtra, Andhra Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh and Assam.

Why does the installment hang?

If you have not received the last installment of Rs 2000, then there may be some deficiency in your papers. For example, there may be a mistake in your Aadhaar, account number and bank account number. If this happens, then you will not be able to get even the coming installments. If you want the next installment to be credited to your account without any hindrance, then check your status and rectify the mistake. Know that you can fix such mistake sitting at home. For this you do not even need to go to the Common Service Center (CSC).

These are the easy steps..

Visit the official website of PM-Kisan Scheme (https://pmkisan.gov.in/).

Going inside its farmer corner and click on Edit Aadhaar Details option.

Enter your Aadhar number here. After that enter a captcha code and submit.

If only your name is wrong i.e. both your name in application and Aadhaar are different then you can correct it online.

If there is any other mistake then you should contact your accountant and agriculture department office.

Know when the 11th installment will come

PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Scheme was started by the Modi government on 24 February 2019 and it became effective from 1 December 2018. Under this scheme, the government gives Rs 6000 every year to small farmers in three installments. The first installment comes from April 1 to July 31, the second installment from August 1 to November 30 and the third installment from December 1 to March 31. The installment is directly transferred to the account of the farmers. In this sense, now the next installment will come only after April 1.
