Airport and AIIMS: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday gave a big gift to Jharkhand and inaugurated and laid the foundation stone of projects worth Rs 16 thousand crore. Along with this, PM Modi inaugurated the Deoghar International Airport in Deoghar, which has been built at a cost of Rs 410 crore and is the second international airport in Jharkhand. Apart from this, PM Modi also inaugurated the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in Deoghar, which has a facility of 250 beds.

Projects worth Rs 16800 crores gifted to Jharkhand

During his visit to Deoghar, PM Narendra Modi inaugurated and laid the foundation stone of projects worth a total of Rs 16,800 crore, including airport and AIIMS. During this, PM Modi said that everyone's mind becomes happy after coming to Baba Dham. Today, all of us have got the privilege of giving impetus to the development of Jharkhand from Deoghar. With the blessings of Baba Baidyanath, projects worth more than Rs 16,000 crore have been inaugurated and the foundation stone has been laid today. This is going to give a lot of impetus to Jharkhand's modern connectivity, energy, health, faith and tourism.

Bihar and Bengal will also benefit from these projects

Prime Minister Narendra Modi said, 'Though these projects are starting from Jharkhand, but many areas of Bihar and West Bengal will also be directly benefited from them. That is, these projects will also accelerate the development of Eastern India. The development of the nation from the development of the states, the country has been working with this thinking for the last 8 years. He further said, 'In the last 8 years, the same thinking, this feeling has been paramount in the effort to connect Jharkhand in every way by highway, railway, airway, waterway.'

'Deoghar airport will move 5 lakh passengers every year'

PM Modi said, 'I got the opportunity to lay the foundation stone of Deoghar airport 4 years ago. Despite the difficulties of Corona, work was done fast on it and today Jharkhand is getting another airport. Every year about 5 lakh passengers will be able to move from Deoghar airport. This will also facilitate the devotees of Baba. He further said, 'Today the benefits of the efforts of the government are visible in the whole country. Under the UDAN scheme, in the last 5-6 years, about 70 new places have been connected through airports, heliports and water aerodromes. Today, ordinary citizens are getting the facility of air travel on more than 400 new routes.
