Prime Minister Narendra Modi laid the foundation stone and inaugurated development projects worth ₹9,400 crore in Hyderabad. On Sunday, PM Modi digitally launched these projects at the Hyderabad International Convention Centre (HICC). The event was attended by Telangana Governor Shiv Pratap Shukla, Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy, Union Minister G. Kishan Reddy, and several other leaders. During his address, the Prime Minister took a sharp dig at CM Revanth Reddy regarding corruption within the Telangana government.

Sharp Critique on Corruption and Fund Leakage

Speaking at the event, Prime Minister Modi expressed his dissatisfaction with the state of corruption in Telangana. He stated that he's ready to provide funds to Telangana just as he does for Gujarat, but the money gets reduced to half by the time it reaches the state. While the Prime Minister made these remarks, Telangana CM Revanth Reddy was seen laughing. PM Modi emphasized that while the center is committed to development, the leakage of funds remains a significant concern.

Major Infrastructure and Highway Projects

The Prime Minister laid the foundation for several key infrastructure projects, including the four-laning of National Highway-167 from Gudebellur to Mahabubnagar on the Hyderabad-Panaji economic corridor. He also inaugurated various sections of the Kazipet-Vijayawada multi-tracking railway project and the Kazipet Rail Under Rail bypass. Also, a Greenfield POL (Petroleum, Oil, Lubricants) terminal was inaugurated in Hyderabad to bolster the region's energy logistics.

India’s First PM MITRA Park and Railway Upgrades

A significant highlight of the visit was the inauguration of the PM MITRA Park (Kakatiya Mega Textile Park) in Warangal. Developed at an estimated cost of approximately ₹1,700 crore, it's India's first fully functional PM MITRA park. The Prime Minister noted that these projects, ranging from textiles to railways, are designed to create thousands of job opportunities and modernize the state's industrial landscape.

State Development as a Pillar for National Progress

Prime Minister Modi stated in Hyderabad that India is currently on the 'Reform Express' and is building modern infrastructure at a rapid pace. He reiterated that the progress of the country isn't possible without the development of its states. The PM assured every family in Telangana that the central government would continue to work even faster to realize their dreams, while he concluded by stating that the foundation and inauguration of these projects would pave the way for a more prosperous Telangana.
