Jaipur: Rajasthan Government on Friday dismissed Kailash Bohra, an accused and former RPS officer, from service, as a bribe for demanding his 'consent' from a complainant.

According to official sources, after getting approval from the governor, the state government issued an order to sack Bohra from service. It is noteworthy that Bohra was given compulsory retirement from service on 20 March.

Arrested for extortion as a bribe

It is noteworthy that Kailash Bohra, Assistant Commissioner of Police (Deputy Superintendent of Police) posted in the Women's Atrocities Research Unit of Jaipur Police Commissionerate was arrested by the Anti-Corruption Bureau on charges of asking for bribe.

The complainant had complained that three cases, including the rape registered by her, were being investigated by Bohra and according to the complainant, Bohra asked for money to act in her favor and eventually 'bailed' her as a bribe. demanded.

Dismissal will be processed

The matter also arose in the state assembly where Parliamentary Affairs Minister Shanti Dhariwal called the matter extremely serious (Rare of the Rare). After this, on March 20, an order was issued to the State Home Secretary Abhay Kumar. According to this, Bohra was given compulsory retirement in view of public interest.

On the recommendation of the High Level Standing Committee of the Administrative Reforms Department, Rajasthan Police Service (RPS) officer Bohra has been given compulsory retirement from service under the Rajasthan Civil Services (Pension) Rules, 1996 ”.
