Lok Sabha Election / Political gathering in Kashi today, Priyanka-Dimple will do road show; CM Yogi will hold a public meeting

Lok Sabha Election: The election campaign of political parties is going on in full swing amid the Lok Sabha elections. Today, elections are to be held across the country under the sixth phase. In such a situation, now the election campaign is left only on the remaining seats for the seventh and last phase. Meanwhile, big names are going to unite for the election campaign in UP's most famous Varanasi Lok Sabha seat. On one hand, there is to be a road show of Priyanka Gandhi and Dimple Yadav, while on the other hand, CM Yogi Adityanath will also address an election public meeting at Assi Ghat. 

Road show in support of Ajay Rai

Actually, Congress leader Ajay Rai is the candidate of Indi alliance from Varanasi Lok Sabha seat. In such a situation, Congress General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi and SP chief Akhilesh Yadav's wife Dimple Yadav will hold a road show on Saturday in support of Ajay Rai. Congress spokesperson Shailendra Singh said that the road show will start from Durgakund temple and will end after visiting Ravidas temple via Lanka. He said that during the road show, Priyanka Gandhi and Dimple Yadav will also garland the statue of Madan Mohan Malviya at Singhdwar of Kashi Hindu University. This joint road show program of both the leaders will start at 4 pm. 

CM Yogi will address the public meeting

Apart from this, a public meeting of CM Yogi is also to be held today in PM Modi's Lok Sabha constituency Varanasi. This public meeting of CM Yogi will start at Assi Ghat today at 6:30 pm. Before the public meeting, CM Yogi has written on Twitter that the ancient glory of Kashi is being restored under the successful leadership of respected Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, the architect of 'Ek Bharat - Shrestha Bharat', India's 'charioteer of immortality'. While the world is encountering the spiritual consciousness of India through the grand-divine Kashi Vishwanath Corridor, the operation of cruise boats in river Ganga, the rejuvenation of Varanasi Airport, the network of roads and bridges and other mega infrastructure projects are bringing prosperity and development to Kashi. New dimensions are being established. As a result of the visionary leadership of the Prime Minister, Kashi has today become a global tourism and cultural heritage centre.
