Wrestlers Protest: The strike of wrestlers against Wrestling Association President Brij Bhushan Singh is continuously taking a bigger form. Congress Priyanka Gandhi also participated in this dharna on Saturday. He spent about an hour with the wrestlers. During this, listened to their problems, consoled them and also questioned the government. He asked why the government is saving Brij Bhushan Singh. Along with this, Priyanka also targeted PM Modi.

Priyanka Gandhi also joined the wrestlers' dharna at 7.45 am on the seventh day. Here she kept talking to women wrestlers for about 50 minutes. He also spoke to Vinesh Phogat, Sakshi Malik and Bajrang Punia. During the conversation, Vinesh got emotional and Priyanka also consoled her.

What did Priyanka say after meeting the wrestlers

After meeting the wrestlers, Priyanka Gandhi asked many questions. He asked what was there in the FIR that was registered. Why is this not being brought before everyone. We all tweet when these wrestlers win medals. feel proud. Today they are sitting on the road. They are not getting justice. All these women wrestlers struggle a lot to reach this point and I don't understand why the government is protecting Brij Bhushan. There are such serious allegations against Brij Bhushan, but no action is being taken. The government should remove him from the post. He should resign.

Targeting PM Modi

Priyanka targeted Prime Minister Narendra Modi after meeting the wrestlers. “I have no hope from the PM because if he is concerned about them (wrestlers), why hasn't he spoken to them yet? The country stands with them (players). I am proud that wrestlers are standing up and raising their voice for such a cause.

Brijbhushan said I will not resign

After the FIR was registered against him, Brij Bhushan Singh kept his point. He raised questions on the strike of the wrestlers and their demands. Also told the hand of Congress behind the dharna. He says that if the wrestlers return home after his resignation, then he is ready for it. His tenure is over and elections are to be held in 40-45 days. In such a situation, he himself will step down from the post of the President of the Wrestling Federation, but he will not resign as a criminal. He said that he has full faith in the Delhi Police and the Supreme Court and that he is innocent.
