Rajasthan Election: There is a fight between BJP and Congress on Shiv seat of Barmer. Ravindra Singh Bhati, former president of Jayanarayan Vyas University (JNVU), who joined BJP 9 days ago, has announced to contest the elections as an independent by issuing a post on social media platform X. He has said that he will file nomination on 6th November. Former Shiv MLA (2003) Jalam Singh Ravlot, former Shiv candidate (2018) Khangar Singh Sodha are also filing nominations, unhappy with not getting the ticket. Here, after not getting the ticket from Congress, District President Fateh Khan has also announced his nomination.

3 rebels from BJP, 1 from Congress on Shiv seat

After Amin Khan got the ticket from Congress on Shiv seat, voices of protest have started being raised here. The rebellion has started after BJP got the ticket to District President Swaroop Singh Khara. Khangar Singh Sodha, who was Shiv's candidate in the 2018 elections and is seeking ticket from BJP, has said that the party will be taught a lesson. At the same time, Dr. Jalam Singh, former BJP MLA from Shiv assembly seat (2003), has accused the Center of betrayal. Here, Shiv District President Fateh Khan from Congress has also announced to file nomination on 6th November.

Bhati became rebel in just 9 days

Former JNVU President Ravindra Singh Bhati has officially announced to contest the elections as an independent. He posted the post on social media platform X on Sunday. Actually, Ravindra Singh Bhati was active in Shiv assembly constituency of Barmer district for a long time. On September 7, Jan Samvad Yatra was taken out in Shiv Vidhan Sabha and started contacting the people.

Ravindra Singh had joined BJP 9 days ago in Jaipur under the leadership of BJP in-charge Arun Singh and State President CP Joshi. After this it was believed that his ticket from Shiv Assembly was fixed. However, on Friday morning, BJP fielded Swaroop Singh Khara from this seat. After this he rebelled and announced his nomination on 6th November.

Party has to be taught a lesson: Khangar Singh

In the year 2018, BJP candidate from Shiv seat Khangar Singh Sodha had held a meeting with workers and supporters late on Friday night. He said- I stand with the right. They know that we will not contest the elections as an independent. The party should learn a lesson. By doing this this can also happen. During this, he removed the turban from his head and showed it in front of the people and said that in front of all of you there are hatha-jodi and pagga-granddaughters. I am filing election nomination tomorrow.

After this, when Dainik Bhaskar spoke to Khangar Singh Sodha on phone regarding the video, he said that due to pressure from workers and supporters, he is contesting the elections as an independent. The party should learn a lesson.

Central leadership betrayed me: Jalam Singh

Dr. Jalam Singh, a former MLA from Shiv, released a video and said that the central and state leadership had told me that your ticket is final from Shiv assembly seat and you should prepare to go to the area and file nomination. I reached the area and started preparing to file nomination.

Meanwhile, the fourth list of BJP came and I came to know that my name was not in it. I have been betrayed. Through the video, I want to tell the residents of Shiv Assembly seat that whatever decision you take against this betrayal, I accept it.

District President Fateh Khan rebel from Congress

Among the Congress-BJP candidates declared for the seven assembly seats of Barmer district, the rebellion in Shiv area is highest till now. Congress gave ticket to 84 year old Amin Khan for the 10th time on Shiv seat. Along with this, Fateh Khan and his supporters, who are claiming from here, have started a rebellion. Supporters and workers protested by burning tyres. Fateh Khan announced the filing of nomination papers by posting on social media platform X.
