Jammu-Kashmir News: Helicopter service is going to start from Jammu to Bhawan cave temple of Mata Vaishno Devi located in the Trikuta hills of Reasi district. Helicopter service will start here from June 18. Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board (SMVDB) made this announcement on Monday. This step has been taken as part of continuous efforts to streamline the pilgrimage and provide better facilities to the devotees coming from all over the world to worship at the cave temple. Let us tell you that crores of devotees from all over the country go for Vaishno Devi darshan.

SMVDB Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Anshul Garg said, "To provide better facilities, the board has decided to start direct helicopter services from Jammu to Bhawan from June 18." Garg said that under the package, devotees will be provided other facilities including battery car service, darshan on priority, prasad and ropeway service. He said, "All these facilities are being provided as a package. People can book the helicopter service through our website and avail the facilities."

Crores of devotees visit the temple

According to officials, the devotees will be taken to the Bhawan after landing at Panchhi helipad near the temple. He informed that the pilgrims will be provided with a special darshan slip, prasad, priority ticket to worship at 'Bhairav ​​Mandir', cable car and battery car service to reach Panchhi helipad and board the helicopter for Jammu airport. It is worth noting that at present the helicopter service is available only between Katra and Sanjichhat. Mata Vaishno Devi cave temple located in the Trikuta hills of Reasi district is one of the most revered places in Jammu and Kashmir. About one crore devotees reach here for darshan every year.
