Delhi News: The roads of the country's capital are going to be spectacular. Rs 700 crore will be spent for its repair. Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways Nitin Gadkari and Lieutenant Governor (LG) of Delhi V.K. Saxena, it was decided that the central government would provide Rs 700 crore to Delhi from the Central Road Fund for construction, repair, maintenance and beautification of roads in the national capital.

The meeting was called to address issues related to NHAI projects such as UER-II, Dwarka Expressway, Delhi-Dehradun Highway and parallel flyovers in Vasant Kunj Sector C-D. Senior officials from both the sides were present in the meeting chaired by Gadkari and LG Saxena.
