New Delhi : Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh chief Mohan Bhagwat suddenly reached Delhi's Kasturba Gandhi Marg mosque on Thursday when everyone was surprised. During this he met Umar Ahmed Ilyasi, the head of the All India Imam Organization. Not only this, after this Mohan Bhagwat also reached the madrasa running near the mosque and talked to the students. It is being said that this visit of Mohan Bhagwat took place as part of the campaign to contact the Muslim community. During this, Mohan Bhagwat met the Imam for about an hour. Mohan Bhagwat was accompanied by senior Sangh leaders Krishna Gopal, Ram Lal and Indresh Kumar.

After the meeting, Imam Umar Ahmed Ilyasi called Mohan Bhagwat the 'Father of the Nation' and said that the RSS chief had come to Madrasa Tajveedul Quran on his invitation. During this, he also talked to the children studying in the madrasa. Indresh Kumar told what happened to the children with Mohan Bhagwat. He said that Mohan Bhagwat asked the children what they study and what they want to become in life. He said that most of the children told that they want to become doctors or engineers. During this, Imam Umar Ahmad Ilyasi told Bhagwat that apart from giving religious education to the children, modern subjects are also taught here.

During the meeting with the RSS chief, the students of the madrasa also raised slogans of Jai Hind and Vande Mataram. Mahmood Hasan, who teaches in the madrasa, said that the children met Mohan Bhagwat in a very cordial atmosphere. He said that Mohan Bhagwat asked the children to get knowledge about computer apart from Islamic subjects. This will help them in future. It is being said that during the one hour visit, Mohan Bhagwat also heard verses of Quran from the children. Hassan said that Mohan Bhagwat also asked general knowledge questions to the children. His emphasis was that children should be given information about Islamic subjects as well as modern subjects.

Sangh told why Mohan Bhagwat suddenly reached the mosque

RSS spokesperson Sunil Ambekar said when Mohan Bhagwat reached the mosque that he keeps meeting people from all walks of life. He said that this is part of the dialogue process of the Sangh.
