The withdrawal of Russian forces, which failed to capture the capital, despite laying siege to Kyiv, has begun. Subsequently, bodies of 20 people in plain clothes were found on the road in nearby Bucha Nagar. The Ukrainian army has so far recaptured 30 cities.

According to eyewitnesses, the hands of one of these bodies were tied. In the northwest of the capital, bodies of people have also been found on a residential road. The cause of their death is not clear. One of them had a big wound on his head. Ukraine has declared Bucha free after the withdrawal of Russian forces.

Russia, on the other hand, attacked two cities in central Ukraine, Poltava and Kremenchuk. Poltava region's administrative head Dmitry Lunin said Russian missiles hit infrastructure structures and residential areas. The death toll in these attacks is not yet known. On Saturday itself, Russia carried out airstrikes in the cities of Svyrodonsk and Rubizhne in the Luhansk region.

Pope condemns Putin for the first time

In the Mediterranean island nation of Malta, Pope Francis has for the first time vehemently condemned Russian President Vladimir Putin as the overlord over the Ukraine war. This is the strongest statement ever made by the supreme Christian religious leader regarding this war. The specter of war is spreading from the east of Europe, he said. Unfortunately some overlords are instigating conflicts in the name of claims of national interest.

Russians left landmines: Zelensky

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky warned people that landmines were being laid in the areas left by Russian forces. On the question of ordering the attack on the Russian oil depot, Zelensky said that he does not discuss the orders given by him as commander.
