GAUTAM BUDDH NAGAR / Section 144 implemented in this city of UP, decision in view of festivals and board exams

Section 144 has been implemented in Gautam Buddh Nagar district of UP. Section 144 will remain in force in the city from April 1 to 30 in view of Ramzan, Ram Navami and board exams. Strict action will be taken for violating Section 144 applicable in Gautam Buddha Nagar.

It was informed by the Police Commissionerate of Gautam Buddha Nagar that in view of the upcoming Ramzan, Ram Navami, Ambedkar Jayanti, board examination and Legislative Council elections 2022, Section 144 will be applicable in the district from April 1 to 30.

These are the major festivals in April

Know that from April 2 to April 10, Chaitra Navratri, Ram Navami on April 10, Ambedkar Jayanti on April 14, Hanuman Jayanti on April 16, Easter on April 17 and Jumma of Goodbye on April 29. In view of this, Section 144 has been imposed in Gautam Buddha Nagar.

When is the Legislative Council election?

Let us inform that the Legislative Council elections will be held in Gautam Buddha Nagar on 9 April and the results will be declared on 12 April. There are four Legislative Council seats in Gautam Buddha Nagar.

According to the order, during this period, no person shall hold fast, dharna-demonstration etc. without the permission of the competent authority. Neither will inspire anyone to do so nor will he be involved in any such program. No person shall take out any kind of procession without permission.

Apart from this, no person will carry a stick, stick, ballam, stick or any kind of deadly weapon. No person will try or inspire anyone to offer prayers, namaz etc. at disputed sites where there is no custom.
