Lok Sabha Election: Bharatiya Janata Party national president JP Nadda and Union Home Minister Amit Shah held a meeting with the core group leaders of Uttar Pradesh BJP on Saturday. Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, both Deputy Chief Ministers of Uttar Pradesh Keshav Prasad Maurya and Brajesh Pathak, State President Bhupendra Chaudhary and State Organization General Secretary Dharampal and many other leaders were present in the meeting held at the BJP headquarters in New Delhi. According to sources, Nadda and Shah reviewed the preparations for the Lok Sabha elections in Uttar Pradesh.

Special discussion took place on these 14 seats in the meeting

According to sources, the meeting specifically discussed the 14 Lok Sabha seats lost in Uttar Pradesh, including Mainpuri and Rae Bareli. In fact, BJP has been making special preparations for a long time considering 160 Lok Sabha seats across the country as weak for itself. Now the party has started discussing these lost seats state-wise and under this, Shah and Nadda held a meeting with BJP leaders of Uttar Pradesh on Saturday. Let us tell you that in the 2019 Lok Sabha elections in the state, BJP had won 62 seats and its ally Apna Dal (S) had won 2 seats.

Later, BJP snatched Azamgarh and Rampur Lok Sabha seats from SP in the by-elections. Let us tell you that 14 Lok Sabha seats of Uttar Pradesh are still in the possession of opposition parties and special discussion was held on these 14 seats in Saturday's meeting. It is being told that in this meeting the MLC elections going to be held in Uttar Pradesh were also discussed.
