The government has called a special session of Parliament from 18 to 22 September. The new building of Parliament was inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in the month of May this year. If we talk about the new building of Parliament, then its foundation was laid in the year 2020, while it has been inaugurated in the year 2023. This building is built right next to the old Parliament House, which has been built by Tata Projects. The Central Government has built a new Parliament House under the Central Vista Project, which has modern facilities.

In this Parliament House, both Rajya Sabha and Lok Sabha have more seats for MPs, while 1280 MPs can sit together for the joint session. The new Parliament House, built in a budget of about Rs 900 crore, is equipped with modern facilities, including a museum, library, and other special facilities for MPs.
