Samajwadi Party says that Congress had not done its homework on seat distribution, that is why the meeting has been canceled today. Samajwadi Party says that the party leadership of UP was not prepared. According to Congress, Mukul Wasnik is the general secretary in-charge of Gujarat and Avinash Pandey is in-charge of UP. Both of them are busy in the coordination committee meeting till 6 pm. Both are going to Imphal tomorrow. Now the meeting will be held after his return on January 15.

Let us tell you that Congress had proposed to hold a meeting with TMC leaders, but TMC had refused to send its representatives to the meeting. Top TMC leaders said that the party supremo had already proposed to give two seats. In such a situation, there is no point in sending a representative. If there is a conversation, it should be between the top leadership, so that a decision can be taken.

It is noteworthy that Congress is continuously holding meetings with the alliance parties. Let us tell you that Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge had set the deadline for distribution of seats among the constituent parties till January 20. After that, Congress leaders are continuously holding meetings with the leaders of various constituent parties. The Congress alliance committee had earlier met leaders of AAP, RJD, Shiv Sena, NCP and SP in Delhi. He was to have a meeting with SP leaders again today, but even before the meeting, Samajwadi Party has canceled it.

Today's meeting was decided in the meeting of January 9.

Let us tell you that before this, a meeting was held at the residence of Congress Coalition Committee chief Mukul Wasnik on January 9 to discuss seat sharing between the leaders of Congress and Samajwadi Party. After the meeting, SP leader Ram Gopal Yadav had said that the next meeting has been fixed for January 12, but the meeting was canceled on Friday.

The Congress is in state-by-state talks with various parties of the Indian alliance before finalizing the seat-sharing arrangements with them. Earlier, SP has claimed that it will contest 65 out of 80 Lok Sabha seats in Uttar Pradesh in the general assembly elections to be held next year.
