Odisha / Students Dance To Pushpa Song in Odisha School Principal Suspend

Odisha | A video of some students dancing in a classroom to the song of Telugu superstar Allu Arjun's movie Pushpa at a high school in Odisha's Ganjam district is going viral. In this case, the education department has suspended the principal of the school.

The matter is related to Baramundli High School in Sheragada block. According to the information received, some students of class 10 were being given some tips by the teachers for the high school certificate examination in the smart classroom of the school. After sometime the teacher left from there. According to the district official, some students present in the classroom connected the TV to their mobile phones and played the song of Pushpa movie. After this the students started dancing on the song in the classroom itself.

Two dance videos of 14 and 24 seconds duration are going viral on social media platforms. It is being told that the students are seen dancing to the tunes of the film's popular song 'Srivalli'.

District Education Officer Binita Senapati said that the Block Development Officer Bhaskar Lenka had given a show cause notice to the headmistress Sujata Padhi, but she did not give a satisfactory answer, so she has been suspended. The official said that investigation is on and action will be taken against some more teachers for dereliction of duty.
