Rajasthan | A healthy campaign was started in Jaisalmer on Wednesday on the Amrit Mahotsav of Independence. On this occasion, the famous IAS and presently Jaisalmer District Collector Tina Dabi also took out a broom on the roads and gave the message of cleanliness to the common man. Appealing to the people of Jaisalmer to actively participate in the cleanliness campaign, District Kalekar said that making Jaisalmer an example of cleanliness should be the resolve of all of us.

Cleanliness drive which is being organized by the city council. On this occasion, along with District Collector Tina Dabi, all the officials of the city council and administration along with the city councilors also participated enthusiastically.

Expert team called from Indore

Jaisalmer Municipal Council Commissioner Shashikant Sharma said that it is very important to keep Jaisalmer, which is famous for tourism in the country and abroad, clean and tidy. He said that keeping this in mind, a cleanliness campaign has been started on the occasion of Amrit Mahotsav of Azadi, Municipal Council Commissioner Sharma told that a team of Shrishti Waste Management from Indore was also called to make the city completely clean. Under whose supervision the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan will be run.

It is necessary to develop the understanding of cleanliness among the people

Municipal Council Commissioner Shashikant Sharma said that the objective of Swachh Jaisan Abhiyan is to make Jaisalmer clean as well as to develop the understanding of cleanliness among the people here. He said that the campaign goes on for some time but to implement any program forever, the cooperation of the people there is necessary. Sharma said that when people develop an understanding about cleanliness, then this work will be done automatically.
