Nepal / Tara Air plane crashes, 22 people including 4 Indians were on board

New Delhi. There are reports about the missing plane in Nepal that it has now crashed. This plane has been seen in a crashed state in Larjung, Mustang. Local people informed the police that they saw strong flames there. Nepal's Tara Air lost contact with the airport's Air Traffic Control (ATC) on Sunday morning. A total of 22 people including the crew were on board the plane. This flight was going from Pokhara to Jomsom.

The helicopter sent for rescue came back to Pokhara due to bad weather. The army helicopter also could not reach the probable site of the accident. Meanwhile, special teams of Nepal Army and Nepal Police have been sent to the accident site on foot.

Contact lost after 20 minutes

According to Nepali media, this aircraft took off from Pokhara at 9:55 am today. It was supposed to land at 10.20 pm. But since 11 o'clock there has been no contact with this aircraft. It is a twin engine aircraft.

22 people aboard

According to Nepal's state-run TV channel, there are 4 Indians and 3 Japanese nationals in the missing plane. The rest are from Nepal. It is being said that there were 22 passengers including the crew in the plane. Tara Air spokesperson Sudarshan Bartaula told Nepal's largest media organization Kantipur that Captain Prabhakar Prasad Ghimire, co-pilot Utsav Pokharel and air hostess Kismi Thapa were on board the flight

search operation continues

According to the Kathmandu Post, an air traffic control officer at Jomsom airport said he heard a loud sound in Ghasa, Jomsom. However, no official confirmation of this has been made yet. At present, a helicopter has been sent to the area where the ship was last contacted. It is being said that the last contact with the aircraft took place nearby.


ATC confirmed

Pokhara airport chief Bikram Raj Gautam has confirmed that the ship has gone out of contact with the tower. According to an official, this ship once returned from Dhaulagiri Himalayas and has not been in contact since then. A helicopter was dispatched to search the flight.
