As per ICC rules, all the teams have to announce their squads one month before the start of the tournament. Today is its last date. If we talk about this time's World Cup, the names of 15 players under the captaincy of Rohit Sharma have been announced by the selection committee of BCCI. The team is looking almost the same as it is looking in Asia Cup 2023. However, changes can be made in the team till September 28.

Rohit Sharma and Shubman Gill openers

Rohit Sharma and Shubman Gill have again been given a place in Team India as openers in Team India for the World Cup. Also there are Ishaan Kishan and KL Rahul, who will bat in the middle order, but if needed, both these batsmen can also play the responsibility of opening. That means two spinners and two pacers are in the team. Hardik Pandya has also been given the responsibility of being the vice-captain of the team, which he has already been doing.

These bowlers also got a place in Team India

Talking about the bowlers of Team India, Jasprit Bumrah, Mohammed Shami and Mohammed Siraj have been given a place in the team again. Apart from these three, there are two fast bowlers Hardik Pandya and Shardul Thakur. Kuldeep Yadav is in the team as a spinner, Ravindra Jadeja and Akshar Patel will be seen supporting him.

These players did not get a place

Some veteran players from the Indian team have not been given a place in this World Cup. The biggest name in this is Shikhar Dhawan. Apart from this, the names of Sanju Samson, Yuzvendra Chahal and Bhuvneshwar Kumar have not been included.

Team India's schedule in ODI World Cup

The ODI World Cup is starting from 5th October, in which India will start its campaign against Australia on 8th October in Chennai. After this, Team India will play the second match against Afghanistan on October 11 in Delhi. India and Pakistan will face each other on the ground of Ahmedabad on 14th October. After playing Pakistan, India will face Bangladesh on October 19 in Pune. Team India will face the challenge of New Zealand on October 22 in Dharamshala. Whereas, India will play against England in Lucknow on 29th October. After this, Team India has a match in Mumbai on 2nd November. On 5th November, it will face South Africa at Eden Gardens, Kolkata. And then on November 11, she will be seen playing her last league match in Bengaluru.
