Saffron will wave instead of tricolor / That day will come because of Congress, RSS leader K. Prabhakar said

Advocating Hindu Rashtra, Karnataka RSS leader Dr. Kalladka Prabhakar Bhatt has said that one day the saffron flag will replace the tricolor. He said that this day will come because of Congress. His statement may create controversy.

Prabhakar also said that the saffron flag can become the national flag if Hindus remain united. One day saffron can be our national flag. The RSS leader said this during a massive padyatra for Hindu unity organized by the Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP)'s Karnika Koragajja shrine at Kuttar on the outskirts of Mangaluru. Bhatt said that if the Hindu society comes together, saffron can be hoisted instead of the tricolor and it should be so.

The RSS leader asked which flag was there before the current tricolor flag? The British flag existed before independence. The flag of our country used to be a green star and a moon. He also told how saffron can take the place of tricolor? Bhatt said that if a majority of the members of Parliament and Rajya Sabha vote in favor of changing the national flag, the flag can be changed.

Tricolor approved for minority appeasement

Dr. Bhatt also said at the end of his speech that he has full respect for the national flag. At the same time, he also said that the tricolor was approved for the appeasement of the minority community. Similarly, after the rejection of Vande Mataram, the national anthem 'Jana Gana Mana' was approved.
