Police have arrested Sirfira, who entered the classroom of a school of Municipal Corporation of Delhi in Bhajanpura and sexually assaulted two girl students. The accused is addicted to drinking alcohol and watching videos of pornographic films. During investigation, it has been found that the accused has roamed naked in the area several times. After drinking alcohol on the day of the incident, he watched pornographic movies and then entered the school located near the house and carried out the incident.


Police officials said that the accused has been identified as Varun Joshi (40), a resident of Yamuna Vihar. On 30 April, he entered the fourth grade of the school. There was no teacher in the class at that time. He closed the door of the class and made obscene acts with two girl students and made a short story. Meanwhile, the girls of the class opened the latch and reached the teacher. By the time the teacher came to the class, the accused had fled from there.


The headmaster and teachers of the school did not report the incident to the police. After the school holiday, the girls informed their families about the incident. The victim's family reached the police station and started a ruckus. As soon as the police received the complaint, the girl students were counseled and on their complaint, a case was registered under the POCSO Act. Due to no CCTV in the school, the police prepared the sketch of the accused on the spot of the girl students. With the help of sketch and CCTV, the police interrogated two suspects in custody on Thursday night and arrested the accused.


Now security personnel will be deployed outside the corporation's schools

Taking a lesson from the incident of obscene act by the girl students in the school, the East Delhi Municipal Corporation has decided to increase the security arrangements in its schools. Along with this, school principal Sandhya Sharma, class teacher Vandana have been suspended while contract teacher Roopma Meena has been sacked for negligence in duty. Apart from this, show cause notice has been issued to the school inspector and another teacher. Apart from this, Deputy Director Ambuj Kumar has been warned.


Along with this, security personnel will be deployed in this school from Saturday itself. East Delhi Municipal Corporation has total 354 schools. Out of these, security personnel will be deployed in 150 schools. East Corporation Standing Committee Chairman Bir Singh Panwar told that its file has been sent to Corporation Commissioner Sanjay Goyal. He told that the deployment of security personnel has been asked to be done soon.


The decision to deploy security personnel in Eastern Corporation schools is an old one, but it was not implemented due to paucity of funds. Mayor Shyam Sunder Agrawal has said that no negligence will be tolerated towards the safety of the children, no matter how big the officer is, action will be taken against everyone. He said that action has been taken against the culprits by investigating them expeditiously.

A case of gang-rape with a 15-year-old girl working in a factory has come to light in Narela Industrial Area area. It is alleged that the owner stopped the girl till late night on the pretext of work. After this, after drinking intoxicating drinks, along with two other employees, carried out the incident.


The incident happened on Wednesday night. On Friday, on the complaint of the victim, the police registered a case of gang rape and under the POCSO Act. The police arrested the factory owner and two of his employees only after three hours of the complaint. The accused have confessed their crime.


Outer North District Deputy Commissioner of Police Brijenda Yadav said that the arrested accused have been identified as Narendra, resident of Tarzan Colony Tikri Camp, Mohit, resident of Gautam Colony, Narela and Parvinder, resident of Narela.
