On the information of the incident, DSP Deepa Mandve, Tehsildar Mala Roy, Jawar TI KD Tiwari, Mundi TI Brajbhushan Hirve reached the spot and tried to pacify the matter. Several people from both the sides were injured in the incident. The girl's father was also injured in stone pelting, who has been referred to the district hospital after first aid.

Villagers were angry with the manager of the fair committee

It is being told that the farmers of Jamli village were not allowed by the fair committee to set up parking or shops in the fields, due to which the farmers were angry with the manager of the fair committee. After the incident, the villagers were going to meet the collector sitting in a tractor, as soon as the information was received, the police and revenue staff reached the village and explained to the villagers. Police called some people of the Gram Panchayat and told them to take action according to their demands. The villagers have demanded the revenue staff and the police to take action against those involved in stone pelting and compensate for the loss.

Tehsildar reached with child in lap among drunken people

Most of the people at the spot were under the influence of alcohol as it was a Dhulendi day. Naib Tehsildar (Khandwa Rural) Mala Roy had reached the spot with her child. Drunk villagers kept making noise instead of listening to the police. Moondi TI Hirve tried to quell the commotion. In the end, Zilla Panchayat member Rampal Singh and fair in-charge Anwar were called and the matter was resolved.
