The police on Monday, requesting extension of the police custody of Shweta Singh and Mayank Rawal, told the Metropolitan Magistrate of Bandra that the case is still at a critical stage, so interrogation of the accused is necessary. Shweta and Mayank were arrested by the Cyber ​​Cell of Mumbai Police on January 5 from Uttarakhand, while Vishal Kumar Jha was arrested from Bengaluru on January 4.

The police had earlier claimed that Shweta Singh is the main accused in the case and she had created the Twitter handle for the app. The Special Branch of Delhi Police had also arrested Neeraj Bishnoi from Assam on 6 January after registering a case in this regard. According to the police, this app has been developed by Neeraj Bishnoi.

Complainant received threat on phone

In this case, a complainant has complained to the Mumbai Police that he is getting threatening calls in this case. After which the police have registered a case against an unknown person. An official gave this information on Monday. An official of the Cyber ​​Police Station in Bandra Kurla Complex said that the complainant told the police that the caller had threatened and asked why he disclosed their names and filed a case.

The official said that a case has been registered against the unidentified person on Saturday. He said that no FIR has been registered and investigation is on. At the same time, the police has started its investigation regarding the departure of the complainant's number to unknown people.
