According to the information, the firing is taking place in two villages Urangpat and Gwaltabi of East Imphal and Yangangpokpi of Kangpokpi.

It is being told that the armed attackers had entered the mountainous areas from Yegangpoksi to target Urangpat and Gwaltabi villages. After this he started firing with automatic weapons. As soon as the information about the incident was received, Army and BSF personnel were immediately deployed in the area and started retaliating. In view of the continuous attacks in both the villages, people have left the village.
