People like to go camping in the jungles, but sometimes such incidents happen there, knowing which goosebumps stand. Something similar happened in Montana, where while camping, a brown bear (grizzly) dragged a woman out of the tent, dragged her into the woods and killed her.

According to a statement from Montana Fish, Wildlife and Parks (FWP), the attack took place on July 6 at 3:30 a.m. in the small community of Owando. According to CBS News, the 65-year-old deceased has been identified as Leah Davis Loken, a California resident. The bear that hit him was about 400 pounds. However, even after searching, there was no trace of that bear.

Officials say Lokan was on a long-distance cycling trip with some friends, stopping at a camp to spend the night in Owando, a city of less than 100 people on the southern edge of a vast stretch of forest.

Lokan slept in a tent while another couple slept in another tent nearby. According to FWP officials, the bear was found roaming around the camp site.

According to the information, the people camping were told to remove all food items from their tents before sleeping so that animals do not reach there in search of food.

Surveillance footage captured the bear outside a tent around 3:15 am. Shortly before this he had returned to the camp site for the second time.

Officials say the couple in the other tent woke up to the sound of the bear attack and ran to save Lokan after seeing him being dragged towards the forest.

The couple used bear spray to drive away the bear and then called 911. The team that reached the spot declared Lokan dead shortly after.
