Thieves targeted four houses together on Wednesday night near the railway police post of Merta area of ​​Nagaur. Thieves took away goods worth about Rs 17 lakh from all the four houses. Before committing the theft incident, all four had made them unconscious by spraying on the people sleeping in the house.

According to information, this case of theft is of Rain town of Merta Road police station area of ​​Nagaur district. Thieves cleaned their hands in four houses located about 300 meters away from the police post here. Thieves fled from two houses with gold and silver ornaments worth Rs 17 lakh and cash worth Rs 20 thousand. At the same time, silver coins and cash were taken from the third house. When nothing was found in the fourth house, the accused fled with some essential items along with the gas tank.

When a woman woke up in the morning to drink water, the bottom of the box kept in the house was broken and the jewelery was missing. The family members and neighbors gathered on the woman's lament. After some time it came to know that other three houses of Ramnagar Colony had also been robbed. Due to the major theft in two houses, the health of two women deteriorated and they were admitted to the hospital.

Information reached DSP Arvind Kumar Goel and outpost in-charge Ramprakash reached the spot along with the police team. After this, the FSL team was also called from Nagaur for investigation. Police are trying to identify the thieves through the footage of CCTV cameras installed in the area.

Theft took place in these four houses

  • House number one: Complainant Devi Lal son Jhumar Lal Sen told that 20 tola of gold and 2 kg of silver jewelery were stolen from his house.
  • House number two: Thieves stole five tola of gold and 20 tola of silver jewelery from the house of Mohammad Umar's son Ibrahim Teli.
  • House number three: 2000 rupees and two silver coins kept in a box have been stolen from the house of Bhagwan Nath's son Hazari Nath.
  • House number four: Karna's son Roop Das told that the thieves broke all the locks of his house. During this time no one was at his house. The thieves stole the gas tank.
