He hit 7 fours and a six in his innings. Apart from him, Pradosh Pal played a brilliant inning of 153 runs in 212 balls. Tamil Nadu made a mammoth score of 540 runs in their first innings. Earlier, Vijay had scored 103 against Mumbai at Brabourne Stadium, then 107 against Maharashtra in Pune. Now he also scored a century in the Group-B match against Assam and scored 112 runs in 187 balls.

Shankar was a part of the World Cup

Vijay Shankar, who was part of the ICC ODI World Cup-2019, has not been able to represent the Indian cricket team since that tournament.
