Shortly after its launch, the video game crossed the 50 million downloads mark in the country last month. Along with the number of gamers, the number of cheaters is also seen increasing. Let's see what the game's maker company Krafton did to stop the cheaters.

Krafton's Anti-Cheating Report

BGMI is a battle royale game where users have to complete missions and survive till the end of the game. In such a situation, many players have started resorting to wrong methods i.e. cheating to win. In an attempt to control cheating and give a safe and good gaming experience to its users, the company has created an anti-cheating software. Also, since August, Crafton has started releasing an anti-cheating report which it updates from time to time.

1.42 lakh players' accounts banned forever

Crafton says he investigated some of the issues with the company's security systems and community monitoring and found gamers who are using unfair means to advance and win games. It has been clarified in the company's Anti-Cheating Report that they have banned about 1,42,578 i.e. more than 1.42 lakh accounts forever in order to stop cheating and take steps against hacking. All these accounts have been banned between September 3 and September 9.

The company has given a statement that the players who play properly do not have to lag behind in the game due to these cheaters, the company is making constant efforts and accounts are being blocked daily. Let us tell you that Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) was launched in India a few months back when PUBG was banned. Since then, the number of people playing this game has increased continuously and this game is being liked a lot among the people.
