New Delhi: Tihar jail authorities on Saturday, 1 February, moved the Delhi High Court challenging the stay on the execution of the four convicts in the 2012 Nirbhaya gang rape and murder case.On Friday, a Delhi court stayed the execution of the four convicts in the case until further orders.
Meanwhile, President Ram Nath Kovind rejected the mercy petition of Vinay Sharma on Saturday. Another convict, Akshay Kumar Singh, has also moved a mercy plea.
