There was chaos in Dhana in Sagar district of Madhya Pradesh when an aircraft of Chimes Aviation Academy left the runway and landed on the road breaking the facing. Thankfully there was no loss of life or property during this period. Union Civil Aviation Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia has given instructions to investigate the entire episode by tweeting.

Trainee female pilot Ishika Sharma is said to be safe in this accident. According to the information revealed so far, when the aircraft was taking off on Saturday afternoon, at the same time, the trainee pilot lost his control from the aircraft and the aircraft came out on the road after breaking the fencing.

The plane stopped in the bushes on the side of the road. As soon as the information was received, the employees of Chimes Aviation Academy also reached the spot, who covered the aircraft with cloth and net. Union Civil Aviation Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia tweeted on the accident and directed to send an investigation team to the spot.

There was no damage of any kind in the accident. The aircraft was also not damaged. Nor did the trainee pilot suffer any injuries. A major accident in Sagar has been averted due to bushes. The details of the incident are awaited.

The single-engine aircraft, a Cessna 172, belongs to Chimes Aviation Academy, Dhana. Last year, the academy was barred from using the runway after a plane crashed. Two people had died in this accident. The private academy was banned for violating the rules. The ban was later lifted.

This is the second time in the last 18 months that a trainer aircraft has crashed. In January 2020, another trainer aircraft from Chimes Aviation crashed on the runway, killing two people on board. In 2009, another trainer aircraft crashed and fell at the Bagri dam on the Narmada river.
