In Bikaner, the couple and their son were killed in a one-on-one collision of a car-pickup. The deceased are residents of Vidyadhar Nagar in Jaipur. The accident happened near Sridungargarh on the National Highway at 3 pm on Sunday.
The occupants of the car, Gajendra Singh Chauhan (35), his wife Shuchi (33) and one-year-old son died, police said. The car riders were coming from Bikaner to Jaipur. The car was passing near Keetasar village at around 3 am. Just then, a pickup car full of watermelon coming from the front hit it hard. The front part of the car was completely damaged. A part went inside Gajendra Singh. He died on the spot. The wife Shuchi Chauhan and the child were taken to Sridungargarh Hospital, but they died on the way.
The accident happened from Kitasar to Sridungargarh and near Tagore School. On getting the information, the workers of Aapno Gaon Seva Samiti reached the spot with an ambulance.
