Russia - Ukraine War: Russian President Putin has announced a two-day ceasefire amid the ongoing war with Ukraine. The ceasefire between the two countries will be in effect for 36 hours between January 6 and 7. In fact, the head of the Russian Orthodox Church called for a 36-hour Christmas ceasefire in Ukraine this weekend. Based on this appeal, Russian President Vladimir Putin ordered the army to observe a 36-hour ceasefire in Ukraine from the afternoon of January 6 to the midnight of January 7.
