The threat of a military escalation in the Middle East has intensified as Donald Trump’s ‘Operation Freedom Plus’ stands at Iran's doorstep. The Pentagon has deployed 29 warships and high-tech bombers with targets already locked. Iran has only a few hours left to comply with the ultimatum: either hand over 450kg of enriched uranium and the keys to the Strait of Hormuz to the United States or prepare for total destruction. Israel and Mossad have finalized a hit list that includes Iran’s entire energy sector. If diplomacy fails, tonight could prove to be a doomsday scenario for Tehran, which must now choose between negotiations or annihilation.
Nuclear Facilities and Potential Uranium Shifting
There are concerns that Mujtaba could oversee the shifting of uranium to secure locations. Currently, three Iranian nuclear sites are active. The Bushehr nuclear facility is located in the Pickaxe hills, where uranium enrichment is suspected. Approximately 598 km from Bushehr lies the Isfahan nuclear facility, another potential site for uranium relocation. Plus, the Natanz nuclear facility is situated 132 km from Isfahan, a site Iran rebuilt even after previous US attacks. Reports suggest uranium could be moved from these sites via the Caspian Sea route to Russia. This involves a 480 km road journey from Natanz to Anzali Port, followed by a 1200 km sea route to Russia’s Olya Port.
Operation Freedom Plus: Top 5 Strategic Targets
If the US initiates ‘Operation Freedom Plus,’ five key Iranian locations are expected to be the primary targets. The first is Kharg Island, Iran’s largest oil export hub, accounting for 90% of its supply. The second target is the Assaluyeh petrochemical hub, known as the gateway to South Pars, which supplies 48% of the country's petrochemicals. The third target is the Abadan Khuzestan Refinery, Iran’s largest, refining 400,000 barrels of oil daily. The fourth is Bandar Mahshahr, a petrochemical hub responsible for 28% of production. Finally, the fifth target includes the Ganaveh and Goreh pipeline junctions in Bushehr, which supply oil to Kharg Island.
Israel's Strategy and Global Implications
According to a report by Israel’s Channel 12, Israel has messaged Washington stating that if military operations resume, Iran’s energy facilities must be included in the hit list. Mossad is prepared to provide the necessary intelligence to destroy these facilities within 24 hours. Iran also considers China as an alternative, potentially seeking security for its uranium in exchange for oil supplies. ' The Pentagon’s blueprint aims to dismantle Iran’s economy and plunge the nation into darkness by targeting its energy infrastructure, starting with islands in the Strait of Hormuz.
The anticipation of destruction in Iran continues to grow as targets remain locked. Tehran must now decide whether to escalate toward war or move forward with a proposal for talks. The US and Israel have sent clear signals that they won't grant Iran much more time. The next phase of the conflict is only hours away. To prevent this, Iran must open the Strait of Hormuz and allow the US to take control of the 450kg of uranium; otherwise, devastation lies ahead as US bombers remain on high alert and a massive shipment of high-tech weapons has arrived in the Arabian Sea.
